Silence is the total absence of sound, but no sound does not always mean no communication. Active silence helps in reflective pauses that serve to get more clarity on situations or messages. Grasp the mental noise to listen, to really understand something.
To be a person of active silence is to be a person who does not lose detail of what he is hearing, seeing, living. The person who does not stop talking and making noise misses out on many of the important things, letting in his or her egocentric side, which distances him or her from everyone. This is not to say that the person does not interact with others or contribute to causes; one can be a fun person, an exceptional leader and have the balance of active silence in every moment that is required.
An example would be that of a father or mother of a family who cares with humility and discretion.
Personalists want to shine a lot, but they will shine only for a short time ... And they will create a toxic thread towards themselves and others.
Righteous beings carry out their missions with full responsibility and full weight. Their goals are clear and the course of their actions flexible.
Goodness is always equal to the power of the person.
The one who makes the most noise or stands out the most is not the strongest or the most powerful.
Your life's journey will be according to the weight and quality of your backpack, select what you carry on your shoulders and you will see the difference in your step, in the step of those who accompany you and in the characters you create along and during your journey.
The greatest power we all have and that no one can take away from us is that of CHOICE and we always have to choose to move forward or to stop, to grow or to stay as we are, to get out of our comfort zone or not, to get out of bed or to continue sleeping, to pick up the phone or to let it ring... everything absolutely everything depends on our choices. What are these choices based on? This is where we must pay the utmost attention! Are we being conditioned by our environment? Our beliefs? Our limitations? Am I really choosing what I want, what my subconscious is pushing me to choose? Where do I have my focus of attention? Am I being dragged by my fears?
Nowadays we have within our reach tools such as coaching, hypnosis, mindfulness, yoga, breathing techniques, meditations... natural therapies that calm our internal noise and connect us with our essence, our centre, that which gives us intuition...
Our choices have been the cause of our challenges, learnings that have given shape and meaning to our character today, without them we would not be what we are, we have chosen it in one way or another.
Active silence is another great mind-body tool, which places you in the here and now without reactivity, using all your senses to be able to reflect and analyse what is present without future or past projections.
Put your focus on what you are and start from zero frequency, zero knowledge, zero assumptions, zero expectations.
Learn by interacting with your surroundings so that you can give your best when the time comes.
Technique for working on active silence:
Start by observing the details of small objects, place them in front of you and seek to bring your mind to zero frequency. Breathe each time thoughts come to your mind and politely push them away, returning your attention to the object in front of you. Do this exercise every day, you can use different objects, you will see that it will become easier and easier to keep your focus on that object and not think about anything else.
You can do this exercise with animals, for example by keeping your attention on a fish in a fish tank, on your sleeping cat moving its belly when it breathes... On the hands of a clock...
This exercise can also be done with your eyes closed ... Concentrating all your attention on something in your hands, this time using your sense of touch.
In Ibisana we offer you different workshops and courses, in all of them you can acquire techniques and tools related to active silence.
